It’s nice to do something different every now and then. W and I went to Hyde Park and walked around last weekend. The weather was beautiful. We took some bread to feed the birds…
One of the birds (with red arrow) was particularly hungry…. He didn’t waste time approaching W who had a bag of bread..
… and he took the biggest piece (look at the poor fellow friend who didn’t get the bread)..
I was so intrigued to see that the greedy bird then took the big piece of bread to the water and soaked it to make it soft for him to eat! He is a smart bird!
Well, it was so nice to do something different for a change.

6 random things about me – here we go:
1. I now can write Hebrew letters.
2. Kumo and Wata are my very first cats of my own.
3. I am not very good at cooking…..
4. I used to love playing with LEGO
5. Mary Poppins was my childhood inspiration.
6. I cannot eat raw tomatoes but I can when they are cooked.
I must say that my list of favourite blogs are growing long. I am so happy to find many inspirational and talented crafters and knitters around the world. So this time I will not tag but instead would like you to all check out the great blogs which you can find on the left hand column.
Off to make some pies… last time I failed to bake the puff pastry (it was a ready rolled one too!!!). So this time, I will succeed…

Good luck with the pies! I’m not too good at cooking either, I must say…
And lol at the greedy but smart duck!
Pastry is difficult. So much of it depends on the oven, not the cook!
Your weekend trip looks like fun – sometimes the simplest things are the best.
The park is one of the things I love about London, infact I have just come home from a wander around kensington gardens with the dogs. I used to love lego too.
Have fun with the pies…Pastry is tricky sometimes. Much as I love to cook, and do simple baking, I don’t do a lot with pastry–LOL! Oh, how I miss London…and Hyde Park, a dear place to hubby and I…So loved seeing the photos of this post!
) Happy Day, my friend ((HUGS))
Hi Kyoko!
Good luck with the pie! You must show us in your next post.
It’s so nice taking time out to feed the birds. Sometime, I take Viv to feed the duck by the docks.
I Knit was fun yesterday, will blog about it later.
Speak you later..
Mary
Same here with the tomatoes!

Enjoy your weekend.

And I hate raw tomatoes too (slimy and seedy and blurgh!), but can eat cooked ones!!!
