BHX - Buttonhole over X sts: Use the one-row buttonhole method is used. This is done by working to buttonhole position, sl1 pwise wyif. Yb, and leave it there for later. Sl1 pwise, pass previous st over as in basic cast-off, rep X-1 more times (X sts are cast off). Sl last cast-off st back to left needle, turn. Yb, make cable cast on X times, then make cable cast on 1 more time, but yf before placing it on left needle, turn. Sl1 kwise and pass extra cast-on st over it. Sl this stitch back to left needle and continue working.
