Skill Level & Techniques Required:
Intermediate (basic crochet and sewing (hand and machine) skills are required to make this pattern.).
Hooks Used:
4mm hook (UK/Canadian 8 or Japanese 7/0)
Yarn Used:
Rowan Lenpur Linen (shades 561, 560 and 569) is used to create this pattern (1 ball = 115m (126 yards))
- Shade 561 (orange): 1 ball
- Shade 560 (yellow): 2 balls
- Shade 569 (green): 1 ball
Fabrics Used:
You can use any fabrics. However, as this pattern does not generally require interlining, we suggest thicker fabrics such as cotton drill and linen. If you use a standard patchwork weight cotton, we highly recommend our general purpose fusible interlining.
- Brown cotton drill for exterior: W 80 cm (31.5") x H 40 cm (15.5").
- Brown cotton drill for handle straps: W 8cm (3") x L 40cm (15.5").
- Natural linen for interior: W 80 cm (31.5") x H 35 cm (14").
You will need to supply:
- Sewing needle
- Sewing machine
- Iron
- Thread
Finished Size (approx.):
Width: 29 cm (11.5")
Height: 29 cm (11.5") (up to the highest point of the bag, not including the handles) or 43 cm (17") (including the handles).
