Shawls are wonderful to make any time of year, even during the winter which is when I am writing this post. In fact, the shawl that I am writing about, I am currently sitting under, wrapped in its cozy warmth. While this shawl has a lacy appearance, it is still cozy and comfortable to wear in those cooler days and evenings as it is worked in a bulky weight yarn.

While this shawl is a basic mesh grid style, that is the great thing about it. There are so many interesting things you can do with a grid Don't discount a good grid pattern.
