ABOUT THE PATTERN
Four pages with color photos, showing the details of the completed project and the floral joins between the large doilies. I created this pattern when I could not find a written pattern for a popular video - the video itself combines older, vintage patterns apparently in the public domain. This pattern is written in English.

Materials:
Number 2 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook
Cotton #10 (bedspread weight) crochet thread. Color A (2 skeins); Color B (2 skeins). Adjust yardage if adding other colors.

Time: I am experienced in crochet, and I spent approximately 22 hours crocheting, blocking, and tying in ends.

Blocking: Highly recommended. Blocking instructions are in the listing photos.

Stitches: This pattern is not a tutorial for beginning crochet. To make the doily, you will need to know how to do the following stitches:

Ch – Chain
Slst – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
Join – all joins made with a slip stitch
Picot – Chain 3; holding the chain toward the back and out of the way as much as possible, make a slip stitch through the front side of the first chain stitch (I aim for the two diagonal threads), making a loop.
