This scarf is full of texture and cozy with a simple but fun sectioned repeat. Using a fun variation of the lemon peel stitch, this scarf works up quickly and beautifully! The finished scarf measures approximately 62 inches long and 6 inches wide. This pattern works up best with lighter, solid shades of yarn. The texture and ridges can sometimes get lost in a darker or variegated colourway.

Absolutely! The most important detail however is to use the same yarn weight that is mentioned in the pattern notes. For example, if the pattern calls for worsted medium 4, for best results please use that weight to achieve a similarly sized finished project.

Pattern testing is an important step in the designing process. When a pattern has been completed and written up, it is then sent off to other crocheters who volunteer to test the design. This means crocheting the pattern as it's written, checking for any errors with stitch counts, grammar and formatting issues while also sharing their experiences working on that particular project. Once all the testers return their feedback and photos of the finished project, I edit the pattern and take into account any notes shared by my testers before finalizing the design to list in my shop.

It's a big process but one that I feel strongly about and view as an important step in designing.

I really enjoyed this pattern — my second purchase from Sweet Bee Crochet. I used a lighter weight yarn so my scarf is narrower but I plan to make this again from something different.
