4.5 out of 5 starsI think the pattern is easy to follow, but there were a few little things in there that made it harder to read eg when making the legs I got a bit confused because I thought the pattern ended at round 5, but it says continue round 5 for seven rounds. Would have been easier to read as round 5-11 ... I also wish I had thought to put the face on before attaching the two layers, it would have been easier earlier on, even though the pattern says to do it after you sew them together. Over all I think it's a great pattern. 😻

this pattern is amazing! it’s super clear, and both written instructions and very helpful pictures. i’ve been crocheting for a while but i definitely think that this pattern would be good for a beginner, it’s designed so well. i already have made one octopus, but i did end up adjusting the pattern a bit because i wanted to use blanket yarn. it worked out perfectly, and i can’t wait to make more!

Beautiful, adorable pattern that is quite easy to follow. Hopefully I've I've finished it my stepdaughter will use it to communicate emotions better. :)
