INTERMEDIATE pattern - a little crochet knowledge is necessary although only basic stitches are required (chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet and half double crochet are used within this pattern), more complicated stitches used within this pattern are described in detail. This pattern uses the amigurumi method of working in spirals.

Size (using suggested materials): 20 cm tall

- Yarn: Sport or DK light weight (I used: Yarn Art Jeans brand 50g/160m)
- 2.25mm or 2.50mm crochet hook
- 8mm black safety eyes
- Polyester toy stuffing

- WASHING YOUR CROCHETED TOYS:
I would recommend hand wash your crocheted toys.
But if you want machine wash, here are some tips:
I recommend placing your crocheted toy in a pillow case to protect it from rubbing against other items in the wash. This will help keep it from pilling. Tie the pillowcase closed so it stays inside. Then throw into the wash and run on a delicate cycle.
- DRYING YOUR CROCHETED TOYS:
All of the amigurumis I create are also machine dryable, but you may choose to air dry it. If you air dry it, you may want to use a towel to roll it in and gently squish the excess water out first. DO NOT wring it out!

To machine dry:

Again, I recommend keeping your plushie in a pillow case to protect it. Dry on a LOW setting.
