KNIT WITH YOUR HOOK
The slippers are designed for the pure joy of being able to knit Nordic stranded patterns with my hook.
The heart pattern with the traditional “lice” stitches, is an overcoming challenge as a first approach to this technique.
The pattern is created with the crocheted Knit stitch, AKA Ssc (Split single crochet), or Waistcoat stitch.
A regular sc, with hook inserted into the middle of the stitch. Requires a minimum of practice.
The same stitch is used for the Crochet-Knit Clog-Slippers:

And for the Crochet-Knit Casual Slippers:

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
Crucial skill: You need to understand colored pattern-charts, like in knitting, or cross stitch embroidery.
This is a no-stress, no-hurry project!
Slow down, relax, enjoy every stitch.
Optional: Protect your slippers against wear and tear, join crochet soles to the bottoms.
