I've never had good luck crocheting gloves, somehow I always end up with GIANT gloves/mittens but this pattern was easy enough for an idiot like me to get *almost* perfect looking mittens. Are my wrist cuffs a little bulky? Yes. Are my thumbs abnormally large and sticking out at a strange angle? Also yes. But seeing as the girl who won them in my work places Chinese action isnt displeased with them, I'd have to say they were successful mittens.

This pattern was very well written and easy to follow and the result was a pair of adorable mittens! I really wish I would have remembered to take a picture before rushing them off as a late Christmas gift, because they are so cute it's ridiculous! And they look pretty amazing in any color combo. I did one in dark gray with light cream on top and another pair in navy with light gray. Love them!
